Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the laborers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest - Luke 10:2.

You must go through their training to participate in this ministry. When these young men are released from the facilities they often do not have clothing and other essential items. You can help these young people return to society without having to struggle to fit back in.

Support of widows, destitute individuals and orphans in Texas and New Mexico (7 widows receive $25 Kroger gift card and 1 destitute individual for groceries monthly and 3 orphans receive $50 Wal-Mart gift cards every other month per family (currently we have no facility to house a food pantry or clothes closet thus gift cards are effective)- you can help by donating gift card to be distributed for this work by sending a donation or gift cards - click here to donate) It is our hope to assist as many individuals as possible.

Neighbor Feeding Neighbor (NFN) is a local weekly soup kitchen for homeless and destitute members of the community. CTWM supports this ministry by sponsoring the community dinner every 3rd Tuesday of each Month at 2700 Finley Road, Irving, Texas (Photos). Along with this we give care packages to the homeless individuals.

Homeless Shoe Project - During February and march 2015 we were able to purchase shoes for the homeless (Photos).

Homeless shelter project - In December 2014 we provided hikers backpack and pop-up tent to homeless individuals who attend the NFN soup kitchen (Photos).

Homeless Re-housing Project: CTWM is currently assisting homeless individuals being re-housed to furniture their apartments. We need beds, sofas, tables and chairs, pots and pans, dishes, linen and towels, dressers and other household items. Remember, these are individuals who have been living on the street and hence have no belongs.

Homeless laundry project - Washing the Waves: We begin in March 2015 to wash clothes for the homeless at a local Laundromat every 3rd Saturday of each month from 9am - 11am. We provide laundry detergent, fabric softener, coins for the machine, box lunches and water. (Photos)

Homeless Bike Project: Some of our homeless individuals are employed but have no way of getting to work. One of our homeless individuals walked 7.7 miles to and from work 5 days a week. CTWM contributed a bike and gear. There is no pubic transportation from his home city to his work city.

Street evangelism - grab some tracts and don't leave home without them - hand them out as you go and share the gospel (feel free to print as many as you like and if you are able to translate this tract into other languages not listed please do so and email to us so we can reach as many people as possible)

Medical Assistance - transporting seniors to medical appointments and assisting with purchase of medication

Nursing Home Visitation is a weekly endeavor to share the gospel with the sick and shut-ins. Two local nursing homes are visited each Sunday one in the morning: a CTWM volunteer conduct 2 teachings at this nursing home and at the other in the afternoon we participate in praise and worship.

Bethlehem House - CTWM is currently looking for a building. Bethlehem House (BH) is a mission house. Unfortunately, I hear too often from people that they are not in a position to do what I do. BH will give them that opportunity to transition into the mission field fulltime, acquire training locally in preparation for work at home and abroad. The house will have:

  • living quarters for missionaries who will have opportunity to serve in BH and abroad or at least spend the time learning how to do missions and develop their own ministry as they feel lead to do.
  • BH will also have a guest housing/retreat center for traveling pastors, laypersons, missionaries passing through in need of respite, or traveling on business -as means of financial sustainability for BH
  • transition quarters for families displaced or destitute - they will be taught parenting and budgeting skills, along with opportunities to learn a trade or start a business.
  • classrooms for instructions, conferences and office.
  • kitchen and dining area which the residence can dine at as well as being open for community meals, for those that are hungry or homeless.
  • clothes closet and food pantry, laundry room and baths for transients in need.
  • media studio
  • daycare
  • medical clinic
  • vegetable garden to help support the kitchen with meals and the food pantry with healthy choices.
  • coffee shop to draw the community in
  • safe play area for children.
  • housing for missionaries who are care dependent and in need of a certified nursing assistance or nurse to assist with their care.

These entities at BH will allow those going into missions the opportunity to serve and learn the how-tos of missions. They will have a place to call home and know that there will always be a place to return to after they have given up all their earthly belongs to serve.

Yes, my hope is to have a house in every state. This might sound a bit ambitious, but if He can create the world in 6 days imagine what he can do in the space of time with His guidance and resources. I know that as of now BH is only a vision and all the entities have not yet been identified but, I am sure as it is given birth to, it will develop as YHVH sees fit. Built into BH are businesses meant to sustain the mission. Of course we have to be careful about the logistics of each entity to ensure the quality of life and well being of all, and how many can be helped and sustained in a living and working environment. I ask that you all begin to pray for this undertaking and funding.

So many cities have vacant and abandoned buildings that are in need of refurbishing to bring life back to communities. YHVH gave me verse 4 of this text:

Isaiah 61:1-4 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations."
